More than twenty years after its first appearance, the 22 is still considered a delightful fountain pen brimming with resources. Created around the turn of the millennium, it took its name from the atomic number of titanium, which Stipula was the first to use in nib manufacturing. That nib, synonymous with rich expression, was incorporated into a fountain pen that was compact yet powerful in performance and easy to maintain. A large-capacity piston, integrated into the body of the pen; a transparent reservoir with a graduated scale, easily readable for those who need to gauge the remaining ink; and a seamless balance in the hand thanks to front-of-hand weight calibration.
 

 
 Today, the 22 Tocco Ferro Deluxe retains all these features, with the addition of a sturdy and substantial stainless steel alloy body. It also offers a wider choice of writing nibs. In addition to the titanium T-Flex nib, there is also the 14k gold Stiflex nib in seven different sizes and the steel nib with its four different nibs, including the V-flex for enhanced flexibility.
 

 
 The 22 Tocco Ferro Deluxe Tabacco features a stainless steel body and cap with a technological vaporization coating of hard metal molecules, making the pen's surface virtually immune to small scratches and nicks, as well as turning its color a charming matte dark brown.
