The myth of the ancient gladiators, the armed fighters who entertained the public of the Roman Empire and Republic in violent confrontations with other gladiators, wild animals, and criminals condemned to death, has been celebrated throughout many historical eras and even in modern times.

Originally, the Gladiatorial Games evolved from an Etruscan religious practice and were later adopted by Roman society to honor the traits of courage in the face of death.

Stipula celebrates these values in a new collection of high sculptural value; the pen's band represents the Roman Colosseum, an icon of gladiatorial combat, while the tip is a typical shield with the main elements of the Gladiators: a net, which was used to imprison the opponent, a helmet and a trident, the clip represents a gladius, the famous Roman short sword and the band at the base of the barrel is inspired by the studs around the gladiators' shield.

The Gladiator collection is available in several vibrant colors: red, cuma blue, paestum brown and black, in resin with matte gold or silver finishes.
